Hillcrest is tucked away in the heart of Hogg’s Hollow, southeast of Yonge Street and York Mills Road. Our well-maintained “schoolhouse” provides indoor washrooms and air-conditioned homerooms for each camp group. Our bright and cheery building is an ideal space for rainy day activities and smog alert days.

Hillcrest operates on securely enclosed private grounds, complete with a swimming pool, water-play area, man-made beach and exciting playground equipment.  Our “adventure style” play area offers a wide variety of physical and social activities. Children use their imagination as they play in our pirate ship, drive a truck, climb the spider net and explore the many challenging play structures. Our covered sand box and large, shaded “beach” area offer even more opportunities for imaginative play.

Safety and supervision are always our first priority. Our playground is Ministry-inspected annually – and daily by camp staff – to ensure it meets all safety requirements.

Our heated pool was renovated in 2006, to accommodate a change from chlorine to saltwater, as part of Hillcrest’s commitment to green initiatives. Saltwater pool systems provide a safer, eco-friendly alternative to chlorine that is gentler on the environment and on your child’s sensitive skin. Children have the opportunity to swim either once or twice each day depending on the length of their camp day.
